Costa del Sol
The Costa del Sol, which translates to “Coast of the Sun,” is a renowned coastal region in the southern part of Spain. It stretches along approximately 150 kilometers (93 miles) of the Mediterranean coastline, from the town of Nerja in the east to the municipality of Manilva in the west, encompassing several cities, towns, and resort areas.
True to its name, the Costa del Sol enjoys a pleasant Mediterranean climate characterized by mild winters and hot summers, with an average of over 300 days of sunshine per year. The region is famous for its beautiful beaches, featuring golden sands and crystal-clear waters, its abundant world-famous golf courses, and its resort towns and cities including Málaga, Marbella, Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Benahavis, Estepona, Benalmádena, and Nerja.
