Cannon Beach, Oregon

Cannon Beach is a quaint hamlet on the North Coast of Oregon lined with boutique shops, galleries, cafes, and eateries. It is known for its long, sandy shore, and the iconic Haystack Rock, a seasonal haven for tufted puffins. There are also tide pools, sea caves, waterfalls that cascade onto the sand, and several hiking trails to explore in the area. National Geographic listed it as one of the most beautiful places in the world in 2013.

Fat Biking, Cannon Beach

Explore Cannon Beach on fat tire bikes that are meant to cruise over the sand. The hard packed sand near the water is easiest to ride on but you may be able to ride most of the beach. There is also a “Fat Bike” festival each Spring, with a weekend full of festivities.
