Chilean Patagonia

One half of one of the most stunningly beautiful regions on the planet (the other half being Argentinian Patagonia), Chilean Patagonia is home to Torres del Paine National Park, which is renowned for its jagged peaks, intricate network of fjords, channels, glaciers, and turquoise lakes, and some of the most iconic trekking routes in the world. Some of the other key sights in the region include Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales, the archipelago of Tierra del Fuego (shared with Argentina), which is often referred to as the “end of the world,” and Cape Horn, located at the southern tip of the continent. The region has a rich variety of wildlife, including guanacos, foxes, pumas, condors, penguins, and various bird species. There are also several indigenous people who inhabit the region including the Yaghan and Kawéskar peoples.

Torres del Paine

Torres del Paine National Park is characterized by stunning and diverse landscapes that include rugged mountains, glaciers, intricate fjords, turquoise lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and vast expanses of Patagonian steppe. The park also has a wide variety of wildlife from guanacos (wild llamas), to foxes, pumas, Andean condors, and a wealth of bird species. A place of raw, untamed beauty, it is home to two of the most iconic treks in the world, the W-Trek and the O-Trek, which are bucket list items for many adventure seekers, nature lovers and photographers.
