Nyanga National Park

One of the oldest national parks in Zimbabwe, Nyanga National Park is located in the area known as the Eastern Highlands. The park is dominated by Mount Nyangani, the highest peak in Zimbabwe, at a height of 2,592 m or 8,504 ft., and is home to wide range of wildlife including kudu, reedbuck, several types of antelope, buffalo and even some lions and leopards.

The Nyangombe River and its tributaries flow north out of the park, and the Nyangombe waterfall is one of the key sights in the park. Another key sight is the World’s End viewpoint which offers spectacular views of the Nyanga region and the Eastern Highlands mountain ranges.
