Aberdare National Park

This charismatic Afro-Alpine realm showcases the wild beauty of the Aberdare mountain range where elephants roam through lichen-hung forests. Other wildlife in the area include lion, East African wild dog, Cape buffalo, and bushbuck. One of the most famous sights is the ‘Ark,’ a secluded lodge built in the shape of Noah’s Ark.

The Ark, Aberdare

Built to resemble Noah’s Ark, The Ark floats amid the forests of Aberdare National Park, joined to the world by its own wooden drawbridge.
