Explore Cannon Beach on fat tire bikes that are meant to cruise over the sand. The hard packed sand near the water is easiest to ride on but you may be able to ride most of the beach. There is also a “Fat Bike” festival each Spring, with a weekend full of festivities.

The Bend Ale Trail is the largest beer trail in the West. Visitors get a Bend Ale Trail passport with a map and a list of all breweries on the trail, get a stamp on the passport at each brewery they visit, then submit their passport to the Bend Visitor Center to receive special prizes.

Day trip to Mount Rainier National Park

Enjoy a scenic, narrated journey past lakes, waterfalls and historic towns to Mt Rainier National Park. Watch an introduction slideshow to the park at the visitor center, then take in spectacular views from Christine Falls, Narada Falls, and the aptly named Paradise, at 5,400 feet above sea level, among others.
