Willamette Valley, Oregon

The Willamette Valley is home to two-thirds of Oregon’s wineries, with nearly 600 vineyards and tasting rooms, ranging from rustic, boutique properities to large tasting rooms with commanding panoramic views. The climate in the region makes it one world’s best pinot noir producers. Some of the key vineyards in the region include Sokol Blosser, Penner Ash Wine Cellars, Honeymoon Winery, Oregon’s oldest continuously operating winery, and the Eyrie, Amity and Bethel Heights vineyards. Apart from excellent pinot noir wine, the region also has several waterfalls at Silver Falls State Park, a mountain bike trail system for intermediate to extremely skilled mountain bikers at the Black Rock Mountain Bike Area, and several scenic biking routes.
